Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16

When considering growth in the Christian life, one of the most important fuels to that growth come from the study of the Word of God. Inerrant and inspired, Scripture is real power for change in the Believer; and just behind the hearing of the preached Word, is the individual study of that Word.

When we can begin to lay down the hurts of the world and begin to pick up the peace of our loving God, the power of hurt begins to lessen in our hearts. It makes way for the power of love and forgiveness to grow in abundance.

Hurt is an over powering emotion but so can love be as well. Often times we find ourselves in a situtaion where our emotions begin to spin around. Where it lands no body knows, but I can quarentee that if hurt if involved, no matter how much love exsisted before, hurt trend to overpower.

Sometimes I ask myself, do I need to work on loving more or feeling hurt less? Recently during prayer God answered that for me. His expression to me was, "Love the Word." I was stopped in my tracks!!! It was all so simple to me then. Yes the light came on...

This morning, with that word still fresh in me I asked, "why love the Word, first." When you ask, you shall receive. The Word was made flesh, being that the Word always was. Jesus became the Word made flesh. It always existed. It all made perfect sense..

1 John.....
