When the Holy Spirit teachers truth and one receives it there is a way to tell when one has really received it from the Master Teacher, the Holy Spirit.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
If anything is true it will pass these 7 tests: It will be
1. Pure
2. Peaceable: If someone is trying to prove and "error" as truth you will see the flesh rise up.
3. Considerate
4. Submissive
5. Full of mercy, good fruit and forgivenss
6. Impartial
7. Sincere
